Hardware & peripherals

Hardware that just works.

TABS runs in the browser, so a new till is a screen, a printer, a scanner and a card terminal. Here is what works, and we supply and configure all of it.

Good to know

Hardware questions, answered

Which operating systems does TABS run on?

Any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS. There is nothing to install on the till or in the back office.

Is a new till complicated to set up?

No. A till is a browser, a receipt printer, a scanner and a card terminal. We supply and configure them against your TABS system before they arrive.

Can I use my existing hardware?

Often, yes. USB keyboard-wedge scanners, most USB receipt printers, printer-driven cash drawers and ZPL, EPL or Dymo label printers usually work as they are. Tell us what you have and we will confirm.

Do you supply and set up hardware?

Yes. We supply and configure tills, touch screens, scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, card terminals, label printers and handheld computers, tailored to your setup and budget. We do not supply PCs or provide general IT support.
